About me
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor committed to providing inclusive, specialized counseling for highly sensitive individuals, couples, and diverse clients facing anxiety, depression, addiction, and personality disorders. My passion lies in creating a safe therapeutic space that fosters emotional growth, resilience, and empowerment.
Hi, I’m Stacey Ulry, a Licensed Professional Counselor passionate about helping those who feel like they don’t quite “fit in” find a sense of belonging and self-acceptance. I specialize in working with Highly Sensitive People (HSPs), neurodivergent individuals, LGBTQIA+ clients, and those navigating relationship and attachment challenges.
I understand that the world isn’t always designed for those who are marginalized, neurodivergent, or living alternative lifestyles, and my mission is to create a therapeutic space where people feel truly seen, understood, and valued. Many of my clients are deep thinkers, empaths, creatives, and individuals who have spent their lives trying to "fit in" to a society that wasn’t built with them in mind. Whether someone is struggling with feeling like an outsider in social or professional spaces, navigating relationships and attachment wounds, processing trauma, anxiety, or depression, exploring their neurodivergent or LGBTQIA+ identity, or reclaiming self-worth in a world that often misunderstands them—they don’t have to do it alone.
I believe in a holistic, body-centered approach to healing, blending somatic therapy, polyvagal theory, and evidence-based counseling techniques to help clients regulate their nervous system, reconnect with their authentic self, and create fulfilling relationships. My work incorporates Somatic Therapy to heal through body awareness and nervous system regulation, Polyvagal Theory to understand how the nervous system affects emotions and connection, Internal Family Systems (IFS) to explore and integrate different parts of the self, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to build deeper, healthier relationships, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help people embrace themselves and align their lives with their values.
Therapy is not about "fixing" people—it’s about helping them reclaim their identity, strengthen their relationships, and create a life that honors who they truly are. I am committed to providing an inclusive, affirming, and body-centered approach to healing and growth.
